Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that the battle for Scott Parker's signature is between three clubs; Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool.

FWA Footballer of the Year Parker has been instrumental for West Ham United this season yet the recently relegated side are resigned to losing their captain are falling from the top tier on English football.

Redknapp believes that only themselves, rivals Arsenal and big spenders Liverpool are the teams leading the race for the signing of Parker.

“Well, he’s a good player, a top player, Footballer of the Year this year." Redknapp said.

“I’m sure people are going to be interested in Scott. I know a couple of other clubs are interested, big clubs, but we’ll wait and see.

“Which clubs? Arsenal, Liverpool. I think they’re big clubs in for him. That’s the rumours anyway, that’s what I hear, so it will be hard.”

Redknapp also confirmed his intent to sign Eden Hazard from Lille and, of the twenty year old, said "

Yeah, I like him.

“I watched him this week. He is a good player, but it’s difficult because there are some good players in this country that I like.

“There’s a few lads over here I would like to go for if we can make some openings. we need to make openings first.”

West Ham captain Parker has been at Upton Park since 2007.
