Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios is a target for French outfit Paris St. Germain.
Palacios was a reported target for Italian side Napoli but talks broke down after both sides failed to agree a fee.
Now PSG have stolen a march on their European counterparts and look set to bid for the Honduran international, who they see as the ideal replacement for the recently retired Claude Makelele.
Spurs want to flog the 25-year-old, who featured just 18 times last season, in order to free up money for new signings.
Reports suggest PSG are also interested in Palacios' team-mate Younes Kaboul and the French side are said to be readying a £21m bid in order to secure the services of both players.
