Tottenham kick off their FA Cup campaign this weekend and welcome an in-form Cheltenham Town side to White Hart Lane.

Manager Harry Redknapp is expected to use the tie to give a run-out to fringe players and those returning from injury.

The respective returns of Aaron Lennon and Michael Dawson are expected, with the latter having not played since August after suffering an Achilles problem while Lennon hasn’t been part of the first-team squad since pulling up with a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win over Sunderland last month.

However, William Gallas (calf), Sandro (calf), Tome Huddlestone (ankle), Ledley King (knee) and Scott Parker (knee) are all expected to play no part in the third-round encounter.

"It’s great to have Michael [Dawson] back, he’s worked hard to get fit," Redknapp said today.

"Aaron [Lennon] looks fine as well. He trained yesterday and he’s ready to play as well, which is great."

Potential starting XI

Cudicini; Corluka, Dawson, Bassong, Rose; Lennon, Livermore, Kranjcar, Pienaar; Dos Santos, Pavlyuchenko
