Tottenham Hotspur welcome Stevenage to White Hart Lane in their FA Cup fifth round replay after the two teams played out a 0-0 draw at Broadhall Way last month.

Since the stalemate, Spurs are yet to pick up a win, losing to both Arsenal and Manchester United as they lost ground in their hunt for the Premier League crown.

However, manager Harry Redknapp can welcome back Gareth Bale into the first-team fold after the Welshman fully recovered from a virus that kept him out of the 3-0 defeat to the Red Devils on Sunday.

And Rafael Van der Vaart and Scott Parker are expected to feature after returning from injury and suspension, respectively.

William Gallas may also be in contention for a starting spot after recovering from a problematic calf strain.

Ledley King is expected to sit out the encounter, while Jermain Defoe could make his first start since the 1-0 FA Cup win over Watford back in January at the expense of Louis Saha, who was forced off late on during Sunday’s loss.

Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and David Bentley (knee) are Redknapp’s only long-term injury concerns.

Possible starting XI

Cudicini; Smith, Dawson, Nelsen, Rose; Lennon, Modric, Parker, Bale; Van der Vaart, Defoe
