Tottenham moved up into fifth place in the Premier League table this weekend after they disposed of Aston Villa in Sunday's late kick off. Spurs have had a solid start to the season and are joint on points with Manchester City, and here are the five players who have accumulated the highest scores this season - according toSquawka's performance rating.

1) Mousa Dembele

The Belgian may not be getting the headlines that the likes of Townsend or Roberto Soldado do, but Dembele is the creative hub that keeps the Spurs attack ticking. He can play both deep and offensive roles and is brilliant at retaining possession - He has completed 91% of his passes so far this season and creating 13 chances.

2) Andros Townsend

After scoring on his England debut and playing a huge part of pushing the Three Lions over the World Cup Qualifying line. Townsend has created 12 chances and scored one this season, as well as completing 38/57 of his attempted take ons.

3) Kyle Walker

Full-backs are often seen bombing down the wings and there are few better than Walker. The 23-year-old has created 13 chances, completed 9/14 of his take ons and averaged five defensive actions per game.

4) Jan Vertonghen

The powerful defender is adapting well to Andre Villas-Boas' high line and is improving all the time. He may be slow on the turn, but he has completed 5/6 of his tackles, 8/8 of his take ons and 17/24 of his headers.

5) Paulinho

Brought in to link defence to attack, the Brazilian has scored once and made 12 key passes. He has completed 86% of his passes and won 52% of his duels.
