Levy Ready To Open Talks: THREE Reasons Why Spurs Should Forget About Appointing David Moyes

According to reports, former Manchester United boss David Moyes could very well be in charge of Tottenham next season, with the north London club ready to open talks. Here are three reasons why Spurs should forget about appointing him.

1) Laughing stock

Moyes' reputation has take a battering over the last 10 months, so how are the players supposed to take him seriously if he arrives at White Hart Lane?

Although in principal he would have authority over them, it's difficult to give your all for the man in charge, if that same man holds none of your respect.

Spurs need a manager who gets the very best of the players.

2) No success

Tottenham are, in my eyes, the sixth or seventh best team in the country, though a lot of people want them to finish fourth. It's all very well aiming, but expecting them to do that is a different matter.

Moyes has no success under his belt, or at least not any silverware, which could go against him in terms of managing a top side.

Surely someone who knows how to win trophies would be a better option.

3) No brand of football

When you think of Arsene Wenger, you think of silky football carried out by a unit of young players. When you think of Jose Mourinho, you know his sides play a high tempo, counter attacking game. Think of a David Moyes team, and, well - there is no obvious traits to how he sets his teams up.

Spurs don't need that.
