Ade doubt for Newcastle

Emmanuel Adebayor is in a race against time to be fit for the away fixture at Newcastle United.

The Togolese forward has been in superb form since his move to Tottenham from Manchester City, hitting three goals in four league games.

However, he is struggling to overcome a hamstring problem he picked up in the 2-1 win over Arsenal last weekend.

it is now believed Adebayor has a 50-50 chance of turning out for Spurs at St. James' Park on Sunday.
