Badelj to replace Modric

Spurs have already lined up Luka Modric's replacement should they cash in on the Croatian this summer.

Modric has been linked with Manchester United as a replacement for Paul Scholes and Spurs have looked to Modric's former club Dinamo Zagreb to secure a replacement should Modric move to Old Trafford.

£8.5m rated Milan Badelj was called upon to replace Modric three years ago when he moved to White Hart Lane and the 22 year old is seen as the perfect replacement for his international team mate.

Spurs may have to move quickly to secure his signature however with CSKA Moscow and VFL Wolfsburg reported to be readying bids for the Croat.

Badelj has previously attracted interest from Manchester United and Zenit St. Petersburg.
