Crouch not leaving

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has moved to rubbish reports he is looking to sell striker Peter Crouch.

Crouch has been the subject of intense speculation surrounding reported interest from Sunderland.

Redknapp however isn't looking to shift the striker he bought from Portsmouth two years ago.

"I doubt it. Crouchy [Crouch] is a good player. I like him," Redknapp said when asked if the England striker was leaving.

"He is a great lad and I love him as a fella. He is not one I am looking to shift.

"We are looking to bring a striker in but he is not one of those we are looking to sell if we can help it."

The player himself has already made it abruptly clear he isn't looking to leave White Hart Lane.
