Pav craves Spurs stay

Tottenham strker Roman Pavlyuchenko has once again re-iterated his intentions to remain at White Hart Lane.

The Russian international has been linked with a move away from Spurs having drifted in and out of the starting XI since his arrival in 2008.

Former club Spartak Moscow have been mooted as potential suitors while Anzhi Makhachkala have also been linked with a move for the 29-year-old.

And talk of a move for a new striker, with Emmanuel Adebayor and Mirko Vucinic both linked with moves for Spurs, have done little to deter the Russian international who is keen to extend his currentl deal with the club according to his agent, Oleg Artemov.

"We haven't talked about Roman's future with Tottenham yet," Artemov said

"The team is in South Africa at the moment and then we'll negotiate about his contract extension.

"We don't care about any other offers because Roman wants to stay in London. His heart belongs to Tottenham."

Pavlyuchenko signed for the North London side for a reported £14m three years ago.
