Pav unsure of future

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is unsure as to whether he will remain at White Hart Lane beyond the summer.

The 29-year-old is keen to stay at the club, having stated his desire to sign a new deal with the North London side.

However, the Russian international is yet to discover whether he will be offered a new deal and has revealed that no progress has been made in regards to a new deal.

"I feel very much adapted and comfortable at Tottenham," Pavlyuchenko said in the Daily Star Sunday.

"In football, circumstances change very fast sometimes.

"We now have five strikers. There's myself, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Rafael van der Vaart, who I also consider to be a forward.

"Obviously, someone is going to be either sold or sent on loan.

"There is no news about my contract yet, so all we have to do now is to wait and see.

"As far as I can judge, the club still want to determine who they buy in the summer."

The former Spartak Moscow star scored a total of 10 goals in 29 Premier League appearances last season.
