Modric and Levy set for showdown talks

Luka Modric and chairman Daniel Levy are reportedly set for showdown talks today.

Modric has been linked with a move away from Spurs in recent months and shocked fans by announcing his intention to join rivals Chelsea.

The West London side had a £22m bid rejected last month and Levy and manager Harry Redknapp have both stated their desire to keep hold of the Croatian international.

Redknapp, however, admitted he could struggle to keep the 25-year-old in North London due to the wealth of the clubs Premier League rivals.

Should Modric leave Tottenham this summer, it will be a severe blow  to the clubs top four ambitions as they look to break back into the top four next year.
