Llorente move back on the cards

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente has re-emerged as a possible target for Tottenham.

The North London outfit have been linked with a move for a new striker since the beginning of the window but have, thus far, failed to bolster the front-line.

Top target Mirko Vucinic opted against a move to England, instead joing Serie A giants Juventus.

Now Llorente, of whom Spurs have been linked with in the past, has been linked with another move to White Hart Lane.

The chance to negotiate a move for the Spanish international couldn't be better as Spurs host the Basque side in their final pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Rumours suggest that the game will give both parties the chance to thrash out a deal for the 26-year-old, who scored 19 goals in La Liga last season.
