Hesitant Eto'o attracting interest

Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o admits he hasn't ruled out a move to England before the close of the transfer window.

Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala have been heavily linked with a move for the 30-year-old Inter Milan striker.

And while officials with the Italian side indicated that a deal was near completion, the player himself insisted that no decison has been made as of yet.

"The negotiations with Anzhi are still going. It is possible I'll go, just as it's possible I will stay," Eto'o said.

"The truth is that right now I am an Inter player, but I won't rule out a surprise from England.

"We'll have to wait for the end of the transfer market, which will be soon enough. When I leave Cameroon, the negotiations will continue."

The news will likely see Tottenham interested in Eto'o, a player that have been linked with in the past.

Spurs are in the market for a new striker but have, thus far, failed to land top targets Giuseppe Rossi, Fernando Llorente or Hulk.
