Diarra deal close

Sky Sports News are tonight reporting that Lassana Diarra is, as expected, close to becoming a Tottenham player.

Talks have been ongoing for some time and, as To the Lane and Back reported yesterday, a deal is set to be finalised sooner rather than later.

A fee of around £10m is said to have been agreed between both Spurs and Real Madrid for the France international
