Real Madrid are reportedly offering Tottenham Lassana Diarra at a cut price if they give the Spanish giants first option on Gareth Bale.

French international Diarra is destined for the Bernebeu exit door having found himself cut from the club's pre-season tour of the USA.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is a known admirer of Diarra having worked with him at Portsmouth before his big money move to Madrid.
