Spurs to target De Gea

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has described new Manchester United keeper David De Gea as 'world class' but has vowed to attempt to un-nerve the Spaniard during the Monday night clash between the two sides.

De Gea has made a shaky start to English life following two high profile errors against Manchester City in the Community Shield final and in United's Premier League opener against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

And even though, the Red Devils won both fixtures, Bale is hoping himself and his team mates can take full advantage of the 20-year-old's current lapse in form.

"If any keeper's having a bad time, you're going to test them and it's going to be no different," the 22-year-old told The Sunday Mirror.

"We're going to go to Old Trafford and give our all and test their whole team."

However, the Welshman is of the opinion that the former Atletico Madrid stopper will become a hit at Old Trafford when he eventually settles at United.

"It's obviously going to be nerve-racking for him to go to United and be in the first team, but he showed at Atletico Madrid and with Spain that he's a world class keeper," he added.
