Tottenham vs Shamrock Rovers preview

Tottenham tonight take on Irish champions Shamrock Rovers in their second Europa League group game.

Spurs managed a draw away at PAOK two weeks ago, while Rovers suffered a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Russian side Rubin Kazan.

Manager Harry Redknapp has already admitted he has his eye firmly focused on Sundays North London derby, so expect a youth focused starting XI for tonight's fixture.

Danny Rose and Aaron Lennon are both expected to start, following their returns to first team training but the game comes too soon for Steven Pienaar (groin)

Roman Pavlyuchenko and Niko Kranjcar (both hamstring) are also expected to sit out the European encounter and are joined by Michael Dawson (achilles), Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and William Gallas (calf) on the sidelines.

Potential starting XI:

Cudicini; Walker, Corluka, Bassong, Rose; Lennon, Livermore, Carroll, Townsend; Dos Santos, Kane
