Defoe out, Foster in

Tottenham are considering cashing in on unsettled striker Jermain Defoe in order to fund a move for Ben Foster.

Birmingham City's Foster has been instrumental in the St. Andrews goal this term following his switch from Manchester United last year.

Defoe, on the other hand, has found playing time and goals hard to come by this season and recently admitted if he isn't playing football, he isn't happy.

Harry Redknapp has set aside enough money to fund moves for two new strikers, a centre back and a right back but should Foster become available, would happily part with the £8m Birmingham value him at.
