Napoli deny Lavezzi offer

Napoli have moved to deny speculation that they have received any offer from Tottenham for Argentinian sensation Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Lavezzi has scored nine goals this season including one against Liverpool in the Europa League.

However, Napoli club president has quashed any rumours that his star player is subject to a bid from Spurs.

The 26 year old has been instrumental in Napoli's success this season having fired his side to third and Champions League football.

Spurs are currently in the market for a new striker and have been linked with a host of big names including Falcao, Didier Drogba, Gervinho and Kevin Gamiero.
