Villa eye up Hutton

Aston Villa are reportedly considering a move for out of favour Tottenham right-back Alan Hutton.

Hutton has been told he is surplus to requirements following the return of Kyle Walker who spent half the season on loan with the Midlands side.

New manager Alex McLeish is a big admirer of the 26-year-old having given him his debut for Rangers and his first international call-up while in charge of Scotland.

Now Hutton, who has made just over 50 first team appearances since moving to the White Hart Lane side in 2008, looks set to leave Spurs for a fee of around £5m.
