Sandro extends contract

Tottenham midfielder Sandro has signed a new 5-year deal with the club, until 2016.

The Brazilian midfielder signed last summer from partner club Internacional.

He has gone on to make 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring once.

A knee injury suffered with Brazil during the Copa America has hampered his preperations for the new season but is expected back in training later this month.
