Javier Hernandez - What he'd bring to Tottenham

While the focus of Manchester United fans seems to be with the lack of game time that Japan international Shinji Kagawa is getting, another man has queitly been going about his business without a whimper. Javier Hernandez has managed just three bit-part appearances this season and not caused a fuss, apparently, but now - according to the Standard - the Mexican is ready to search for some playing time, with Spurs interested in securing his signature.

It seems a no brainer for Andre Villas-Boas. IF Chicharito is available, then offloading Emmanuel Adebayor, who reportedly earns close to £100,000-per-week, to fund the deal would be perfect.

But we don't live in a perfect world, do we? The Togo international has displayed his stubborness before and it's likely that he won't go without a fight, or a pay out, and the little pea may be forced to look elsewhere.

Hernandez is one of the deadliest strikers in European football. Last season he played 22 games - completing just four - and scored 10 goals. This season has been a frustrating one for most at Old Trafford, unless your name is Wayne Rooney, and Hernandez has racked up less than 90 minutes on the pitch in the Premier League.

With Roberto Soldado as number one choice at White Hart Lane, with the sharpness of Jermain Defoe and Hernandez as options, Spurs could bery well be title contenders, in my opinion.
